ABOUT:
Project Location: Florence, SC
Client: The Florence Hotel
Project Description: The design for this mixed and adaptive reuse building includes hotel-style rooms, lobby space, restaurant, offices, and function/meeting spaces. The design solution includes a sensitive response to sustainable design, accessible and universal design, through appropriate space planning within the spatial envelope, code compliance, lighting, and interior finishes and furnishings.
Florence was founded as a railroad hub for all surrounding cities, and still holds that title today, so it was only fitting that the design of the hotel incorporate the largest part of Florence’s culture.
