Retail Design Prototype in Toronto, Canada
U.S. based luxury accessory retailer, benefitting from the upturn in business, is looking to expand north into Canada. A downtown, two-story Toronto location will be the backdrop for the new concept. Evolving their brand, value message and store experience into the Canadian market is a key challenge; clearly understanding the Canadian consumer and realigning their positioning and costumer journey. The two-level space is nearly 700 square meter and the process for designing the customer experience will need to include a concepts for the selling floor, storefront, show window and vertical transportation.
Aligned Design
Aligned Designs focuses on simplicity through lines and colors in order to best represent the accessories being showcased. Because of the simplicity of the design, the products and accessories will stand out more and be the main focus. One central, zigzagging wall will create a single traffic flow, allowing the guests to view all merchandise. The Toronto location would be referred to as the "Blue Store" because it uses black, white, and one accent color, blue, making the main focus of attention the merchandise.
City Line Accessories
City Lines is reflective of major cities. The company's products are of high-end accessories that represent high-end fashion and city lifestyle accessories. To support the store products and branding, the design and space planning represents city skylines of cluster sky scrapers and the organization of buildings and streets.
